Ken Blackburn has a Master’s Degree in Fine Art (MFA) having majored in Sculpture and Mixed Media. His work has developed a strong relationship to Social Practice, with an interest in its application to Public Art.  Linking artistic social practice to overall community development highlights the need for collaborative partnerships, essentially between artists and community organizations. It is within these relationships that a new aesthetic emerges.
