As an aspect of the Elements Series, New Nature utilizes chiyogami collage to represent the natural world as an integrated, inter-dependent collective of both cultural and environmental aspects. The collaged butterflies, moths and feathers mimic the natural world and are designed for poetic association - a form of poetry camouflage -meant to blend into the internal worlds of our creative impulses and aesthetic spirit.
