Art is a torch, a companion to light our journey through the passages and chambers of the soul.  We light this path with poetic flame that we may see what moves in the dark....

Ken Blackburn has an M.F.A from the University of Windsor and a B.F.A. from Queen's University.  He has travelled and worked extensively across Canada and around the world.   Ken utilizes a broad range of materials, seeking the voice that resides within artistic process.  The search for a language, one that calls across the great Gulf of Witness, is his artistic aim.
