Ken Blackburn holds a BFA from Queen’s University and an MFA from the University of Windsor. His art is multi-disciplinary, interested in exploring the nature of pattern as formed in the underlying energies that animate and articulate daily experience. With a background in sculpture Blackburn works through a broad spectrum of mediums and environments. His involvement in social practice has a focus on the role of cultural institutions within community development.
